This was all been made possible and with permission by Bafta Award winning director and screenwriter Shane Meadows, Mark Herbert and Warp Films, who have kindly allowed me access to an unlocked version of the film.

These pieces have all been painstakingly composed from frames from the film rather than stills or photographs. The image quality of the frames I captured in terms of resolution wasn’t great, so the work involved was immense. I spent spent around 10 weeks composing the pieces, creating the artwork and then the colour visuals. This is all before hand painting the final pieces, of which Shaun was the first to be completed. The frame used for Shaun is Shane’s favourite frame in the whole film, so I thought that was good place to start.

All of the original paintings were auctioned at the Great Nottingham Ball to raise money The Television Workshop, BAFTA - winning charity training young actors since 1983.
